Talent Analysis
Nemisz drives the net hard while showing his soft hands in tight and has solid decision-making skills along with good defensive instincts. The lanky winger needs to increase his overall strength to help the physical side of his game in order to become a power forward in the NHL. The young forward must continue to show improvement to his physical consistency with the Heat and the Flames might have to give him a bigger chance at the NHL level sooner than expected.
Future
Nemisz will be competing for a spot in the Flames' starting line-up but he will need to supplant a veteran at training camp. His two-way contract could make him part of the numbers game with the Flames' difficult contract situations. It would be better for Nemisz's development to play on one of the top-two forward lines for the AHL Abbottsford Heat instead of the fourth line with the Flames. He has the talent, size and speed to play in the NHL but will gain more confidence playing bigger minutes with a larger offensive role in the AHL for at least the start of the AHL season
