Talent Analysis
Although his offensive game is considered raw at this point he offers an interesting package of size, skating, competitiveness and feistiness. He presents a challenge to the opposition with his determined, high-energy style and was compared to Anaheim Ducks Corey Perry by the Bryan Murray. “I’m a skilled power forward and I thrive off the physical side,” he said. “I want to make the team (next year). I will work my butt off and see how it goes.” What he needs to work on is gaining experience in all situations and polishing his offensive skills. He comes with leadership ability, delivers in the clutch and could develop into a highly-desirable second or third line NHL winger.
Future
Noesen will continue to develop his offensive skills and overall game in the OHL this season and the next and also look to make an impact with Team USA at the WJC.
